I'd like to have a day off from blogging, but the loonies keep supplying material, even on holidays. Please don't confuse them anymore by using words like 'Pilgrims' and 'Progress' in the same sentence or paragraph or book title.
Karl Marx didn't come over on the Mayflower. That was Groucho, Harpo and Chico, stowaway in the pickle barrels in "Monkey Business." (And, as a friend pointed out, Zeppo, who founded Led Zeppolinism.)
